ChemReactors

Vessels from 15 to 250 litres built as packaged pilot plant systems with glass distillation overheads.

The ChemReactor is the original hybrid vessel with an insulated  glass lined steel base section for excellent heat transfer and robustness coupled with a glass top section for visibility to allow the process to be seen.  Each system starts with a multi-purpose glass superstructure to allow addition of liquids and solids, distillation, azeotropic separation in a phase separator and collection of distillate in two receivers.

In addition, there is a vacuum manifold to allow pressure equalisation between various parts of the system to make liquid additions consistent and to allow distillation under vacuum.

The GR series is similar to the ChemReactor, but with the main reaction vessel replaced with an all glass jacketed vessel.  This allows even better visibility of the contents at the expense of slightly slower heat transfer from the jacket.

The BR series simplifies even further in order to reduce cost, but still retains basic functionality to allow controlled distillations.  For those users who simply wish to mix, we also offer our range of mixing vessels in different sizes.
